I've had the pleasure of following Ms. Martinelli's blog for a long time, her simple-yet-elegant take on food is always a treat and this book does not disappoint. Puff pastry always seemed kind of daunting, something best left to home show-offs and real professionals. In the hands of Ms. Martinelli, however it is nothing of the sort. Easy, pretty and surprisingly fun, this is a book that any cook will be happy to have on their (digital) shelf. Five stars for a fresh new food talent, may this be the start of a shining career for Katherine Martinelli.
