It's a fantastic middle grade novel about a boy who's lost his memory with only one clue "Guide the star!" Chase goes on a space adventure to figure out who he is, where he came from and what his message means. Parker is a snarky boy who helps him find his way through the galaxy. The vast alien races introduced at the cafe reminds me of a MG version of the Star Wars Cantina. Love it! It's EVERYTHING I imagined as a child the future would be like when we finally became adults; teleportation, inner galactic travel, android robots, food magically appearing out of walls from nowhere. The writing is spectacular and the plotting reveals some unexpected twists, setting you up for another adventure in book two.

The story is very unique and kept me interested the whole time. Action packed and definitely keeps you wondering what will happen next. Really good read and hoping for more adventures to come. Would be great for middle school aged kids but adults will really enjoy it too.
From the first page of Chase and Parker's journey to the last sentence, the book kept me captivated by the story that unfolded. I really get into my characters when I read and the way the author described every detail, I felt like was right there with them. I was sad to see the last page, but am hoping for the next book to continue on in the action-packed journey!

I am going to send a copy for my niece and nephews to read too.
My son is nine and was captivated by the Lost Planet. Sci-fi, adventure and a look at the future. We recommend this good book!
one of the best books that i have ever read, it has multiple suspenseful questions that some are answered but not enough to not have a good plot for the next book, which is coming out soon! overall this is an amazing book that you should definitely read! it has a sense of mystery that i haven't seen as well portrayed in any other book that i have read!

THE LOST PLANET is a super fun space adventure that both boys and girls will love. With the fast pace and the many different worlds and aliens the characters encounter, kids (and adults) will be turning pages quickly to see what happens next. Chase is a great hero, Mina is awesome, but Parker is my absolute favorite character - I just love his snark. I can't wait for book 2!
8 year old is loving this book, 40 year old mom not so much. Tried to keep up but it's just not my kind of read. Son loves it and that's that counts.
He is 3rd grade but is on a 5th grade reading level.
